Mseto FC

Mseto Football Club is a Nairobi-based football club founded in 2019 by Michael Barnabe, with its home ground, Dagoretti High School in Dagoretti South, Nairobi.

Built from a passion for football and youth development, Mseto FC has grown into a competitive and development-focused club committed to identifying, nurturing and creating opportunities for talented footballers.

The club is more than a football team. Mseto FC is a pathway. We provide talented young players with an environment where football, discipline, education, character development and opportunity come together.

MORE THAN FOOTBALL

Mseto FC has established a player welfare programme that supports talented and vulnerable young footballers through accommodation and basic meals while they pursue their football dreams.

The club has also established the Mseto Academy, providing structured football development for young players and introducing children to the game while developing discipline, teamwork and life skills.

Over the years, Mseto has competed in county and regional competitions while also taking part in numerous tournaments across Kenya. The club earned promotion from the Sub-County League in 2022/23, continued its growth in the Nairobi County League, and reached another major milestone by becoming Nairobi County League champions in the 2024/25 season, earning promotion to the FKF Regional League.

DEVELOPING PLAYERS, CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

Mseto FC's greatest achievement is the progress of the players who have passed through its programme.

The club has helped players progress to higher levels of the Kenyan football pyramid, with players moving on to NSL, Division One, Division Two and Regional League clubs.

Among the success stories is Joseph Mwambeo, a goalkeeper scouted from Mombasa who progressed through Mseto and earned a move to Poster Rangers in the Kenya Premier League.

Our player development record includes pathways to:

2 players to NSL 4 players to Division One 7 players to Division Two 7 players to Regional League clubs

For Mseto, every player represents a story, a dream and an opportunity.

Our development philosophy is simple:

Identify talent. Develop the player. Build the person. Create the pathway.

THE MSETO IDENTITY

From the streets and fields of Dagoretti to the competitive stages of Kenyan football, Mseto FC continues to grow with one clear ambition — to become a respected centre of football talent development and a launchpad for the next generation of Kenyan footballers.

We believe football can change lives, create opportunities and build stronger communities.

This is Mseto FC. This is where talent meets opportunity. This is where the journey begins. Read more in our website MSETOFC.CO.KE #DagoBoiz #MsetoNdioBest
